Bittersweet days...

Why is it that for every great thing in life there are always some of those tear jerking moments to go along with it....our grandbaby got to go back home today where he belongs....tears of joy that he gets to go home with his moma and daddy, but tears of sadness because I wont see his smiling face every morning and get that bear hug that goes with it....sigh....Oh, well, pawpaw said we could go see him in a day or two...lol

SO now it is just me and hubby and the three kids left...man is it quiet here...lol
I have been scrapping like mad over the weekend so I will share my pages and a freebie if I can dig one up...

First I was CT for Mermaid Designs and Digital Ink at Plain Digital Wrapper last month...here are a few more layouts I made using their gorgeous goodies:

I made this of Anthony's Grannie's 90th Birthday party using "Come to Me Kit" by Mermaid Designs.

Then there was Amanda's Senior Prom...you are gonna love this dress...

I used the Rustic Recreation Bundle for these pages of her...

Then I used Sunshine kit by Dragonfly Beach Designs and the template for the May Template Challenge and used pictures of our friends daughter to scrap it.

THen KimEric Kreations made a Sunshine Bundle too...so I scrapped with it...

April was my daughters birthday so I had to use these silly pictures for a page too.

And this cuter page of her and her fiancee and the grandbaby.

Then we got amanda ready for graduation...so I used Booland Designs kit called Teen Scene Boy and Teen Scene Girl to scrap a few pages...

So I did a few challenges at Plain Digital Wrapper...

FIrst I made a page of me for the Slow Wrapping Challenge {go here to join this month}

I will admit it...I don't like to play games because if I lose I am a SORE loser...lol Yes, I played sports in high school and I was very competitive, so it carried over to adulthood...lol
FOr the slow wrappin challenge I used Games People Play kit by DIgital Ink, Ribbon from Granny's Trunk kit by Bubbles Bits, and Buttons and stitching from Come to me kit by Mermaid Designs...

{the slow wrapping challenge is a fun one that stretches out over the whole month a piece at a time..}

Then I made a couple more pages for my book of 2002...

Then I joined the Paste Starved Swap too and scrapped these pics of Becki's darling little girl using the Spring Oasis kit by Digital Ink. Join us for the June round by clicking the link.

Then I used the Monster Madness kit by Charm City Scraps and Templates Flavor K by Scraps of Candy to make this page of the photo shoot last year...my hubby and kids are my monsters...lol

And all of them on my coffee mug too with the same kit.

Then I scrapped more pages for my book....

I used Starving Artist Designs kit called SO Krafty and Scraps of Candy Templates Flavor K.

And one more with this kit, but not the templates.

Then I used some great kits from my CT's for this month to make a few pages for the challenges at Plain DIgital WRapper.com

This page of Amanda's Graduation was made using the Grad Frame for the Words of Art Challenge found here....there is also a cute Dad tag to use if you don't have any grad pics...I used the Everyday MOments Kraft Paper PAck by KimEric Kreations.

Next is the Give Me Space Challenge too! You follow a set of directions to make a white space layout...here is mine.

My grandbaby Jake and my daughter Austin.. I used the Everyday Moments Star Pack for this page by KimEric Kreations.

Then I scrapped some of hubby's fishng pics from a couple weeks ago using the Everyday Moments Fishing Packs and Grid Paper PAcks by KimEric Kreations.

And on this one I used the Everyday Moments Hearts Pack by KimEric Kreations to scrap my grandbaby and my step-son.

Happy Sunday Morning to you all...

I am up early this morning due to hubby and grandbaby getting up sooooo stinking early...lol
I have drank most of my pot of coffee and decided to blog a bit. I managed to get a few pages scrapbooked this week. And last night I was dreaming about scrapbooking....lol I was thinking about all the thousands and thousands of pictures that I have taken digitally over the last 9 years. Yep I have had a digital camera now for 9 years! Wow, how time flies by. My first back-up disks of photos are labeled "Wooddell Family Photos 2002." And since then there are at least 100 disks full....I think I take more pictures now with the digital camera then I used to with regular film...partly because I can just keep clicking and I never run out of film...lol
Here recently I burned a disk of pictures of our grand baby for my step-daughter to take home and there were over 4000 pictures of him...I think his first year of life is well documented...lol
So my new goal is going to be to try to get those pictures all scrapped on simple pages and printed in books. If I scrap one book a month, I may be able to get them done by the end of the year? Not sure really, but at least if I plug away at it I will get it done eventually.
