So glad you stopped by my ghoul-friends! I made this cute badge album using Spellbound Collab kit at Plain Digital Wrapper and I decided to share it with you all!

Challenge #6 The Design Factor! Apple of MY Eye Mini kit...

I completed the last leg of the race last night...geez am I tired! lol Week after week after week is grueling! lol

Digi Scrap Connect Blog Train! Choo Choooooooo!

Welcome to the First Digi Scrap Connect Blog Train. This blog train is comprised of 24 fabulous designers who have been participating in the Design Factor Challenge the last 5 weeks. For our 5th challenge, we were required to make an element pack using CU items. Since 1/2 of the items for all the kits would be coming from the Scrap Matters great challenge freebies, we were worried that we were going to have flowers, ribbons and strings coming out our ears with this challenge :). We decided to have fun with it and turn it into a great Blog Train by adding some fabulous papers as well. Flowers, Ribbons, and Strings Oh My!! the blog train was born. Super scrap-a-thon day for me...

I enjoyed part of my day and scrapped a bunch of pages...some for my CT and some just for me...lol

First of all I used Kim Cameron's Carrot Patch Kit to scrap a few more pages...it is perfect for Easter and Good Friday pics.  You can find it here at Daisiesanddimples

Aniston my hubby's friend's baby girl.

These are my grandbaby Jake, with the eggs on Good Friday too.

And then I made one more page by cutting him out and making a silly scene...I couldn't resist it...lol 

Then I used Kim Cameron's Grizzly Bear Cabin Kit to scrap these two pages of Jake.

Back to the Grind...

We are slowing getting back in sync with the school year grind...how is your family adjusting to it? We still wish for those three day weekends...lol Our school doesn't have another day off until Thanksgiving this year...which is a long time from now....lol
We are waiting to hear from the doctor's when my hubby will have his surgery on his leg...they are going to have to put the little bone in his leg back together...finally...it has not grown back together since November last year...so they decided after trying a bone stimulator that it is not going to grow on its own...so they are going to be putting some donor bone with it, and add another piece of metal and a few screws to it....then once that is healed hopefully he can go through a little therapy and get back to work...it has been a long year and a half....
I just read that Hurricane Ike is headed for Tx/La. again? Goodness that is crazy...
and scarey! Maybe it will be a dud too! Please Lord.
I have to work today...I have a photo shoot for the cover picture for the next issue of the magazine. It is of my nieces and nephews....lol Ought to be fun.
My anniversary is this Tuesday too...8 years of marriage....
Oh and speaking of the 9th, there is an awesome chat at MSS at 10 pm Central time...It is called the Texas Two Step Chat...the hosts are from Texas like me...I am going to try to make it, but since it is my anniversary I don't know what we will be doing that night so I am not making any promises...

Happy Humpday....again.

Well we made it to Wednesday again....

I made a few papers the other day and thought I would share...I couple of them I am not sure if I like yet, but the star ones I love.

There is a cool Commercial template at Gotta Pixel that I used to make these....so I hope you like them.

Finally it is Friday....

And I got to scrap a minute or two....
Here is my page...

Its me & my hubby back in 1999....I used pieces to the kit called LusciousFall below....
I played and learned how to stroke an item with a round brush to make the scalloped frame....very cooooool and fun. Yes, I realize the color on this picture has been found wanting, but it was scanned in from an awful photo and thats all I could do with it. I was about 6 months pregnant with our twins then....geeez was I round faced....lol
I am going to load this page as a quick page if you all want it....

I am so glad it is Friday. Not too much going on and it is supposed to be nice weather too.....maybe I could sit outside on my front porch swing and scrap on my laptop....
