Busy Scrapping...

Trying to get a few more pages done...
This one was a challenge by Traci Reed...from the Hawt Blog...It is a great template!
The kit is by Sweetmade...it is called Sweet Christmas...

These next three pages are of me and my family...I used Color Revolution: Stunning Sapphire kit by Connie Prince at Gotta Pixel for these.

This page is from Misty Cato's Aged to Perfection kit. This is the quick page that goes with it.

This page is made using more of the photos that Ryleigh took with her Fisher Price camera that she got for Christmas...which by the way we found out is made by Kodak...lol
I used Booland Blossoms kit by Booland designs for this page of Ladybug our dog. She got a squeaky hamburger for Christmas...lol

These are all made using the January Color Palette Challenge at Hummiesworld...These are peices from my Winter Cocoa kit...

These pieces are from Susan Cleeves' part of the kit...

Thanks for looking...don't forget to go participate in the challenge...

yay...it is Friday...

And Christmas is over....lol
I am not a scrooge or anything...I love the holidays and getting to see all of our families and the Eating is the best...but the stress and worries of the extra spending are so agonizing....Our budget is beyond tight right now due to his wreck back in February...so it was majorly stressful just getting the bills paid, let alone buying stuff...but I think we will be ok now. And hopefully they will call me to work a bunch when school starts back. Plus I am trying to get back in school myself and get my certificate to teach with...so maybe by fall I will have a permanent job...keep me in your prayers for that.
We finally got some help on the living room floor. We started on December 15th and it turned in to WAY more work than we expected...the subfloor was not all that was rotten, the beams were too...so they spent the last couple weeks tearing out the rest of the floor....and now they have the new beams added in and are working on the bracing and leveling it...then later today or tomorrow they will put the subfloor back on. Thank God for my brother and his nephew helping my son and my poor injured hubby...lol
And last but not least...my scrap habit....I have so many pages to make...but I am pleased with my total of pages so far. I promised myself I would try to make a page a day and so far this year I have scrapped...................................drum roll please...............................495....wow that is way more than I tried to get....I think the Ct's inspire me to create and seem to be the motivation to get so many done...Leave me a comment and tell me how many you all got...
Big hugs for now,
Claudette

Making Christmas...Making Christmas...

Yes, that is what I sang to myself as I sat up ALL night wrapping presents,,,lol
But it was a fun day for us and the kids...we stayed at home and played with our new toys! lol
I got a new laptop for Christmas and I spent the last couple days moving all my goodies to it. So today I actually scrapped a little...and got them uploaded...so here they are...
this is the cutest picture of Ryleigh...she got a digital camera and a fur real pet pig for CHristmas...so she has taken 50 pictures in 2 days...lol And this is one she took of herself and wilbur with her new camera. She told him to smile! LOL
And yes she named the pig Wilbur...lol
I made this page using Maia's Garden kit by Pillowgirl at My Scrap Shop
This is My Ryleigh with her cousin Zoe and a serious bear hug...
I used Michelle Swadling's Tis the Season Add on kit for this page and the next one.
This is my Sister in Law and her family...aren't they cute!
You can find this kit at GottaPixel
Ryan and Ryleigh made their Christmas Wish lists with Alex's spelling guidance and then he took pictures of them for me...
He did a great job on these photos!
I used Michelle Swadling's Tis the Season Kit for these pages...you can find it here at
The font was called Iskoola Pota...very neat and mostly plain font...
Thats all for now...I want to scrap some more...and shrink the pictures for my family so I can email them...lol
Big hugs,

A little bit of work done....

OMG, what a busy weekend we had...we attempted to repair our living room floor...yikes, can we say Money Pit! It is way worse than we thought it was under it...if it weren't for bad luck, we'd have no luck at all....enough about that depressing subject...
I made a few pages last night....and the night before that...
I used Michelle Swadling's Snow fun kit at GottaPixel.net for the next two pages...

This is my son Ryan, isn't that the sweetest smile?!

This is me and my brother when we were little. Houston doesn't get but a little bit of snow every 4 years or so...but we scrounge it all up to play in it...lol

This is my son Ryan again...I love this picture...he is soooo full of energy that when I press the button he was smiling, but by the time it flashes, this is what I got...lol
I used Connie Prince's Chilly Days kit at GottaPixel.net for this page.
The fonts on these are Hurricane and Letter Gothic Std. They are two great fonts.

My son Alex and a photo of himself..lol
I used Connie Prince's Chilly days kit...from GottaPixel.net

These two pages I made using COnnie Prince's Timeless Treasures kit and her great CLuster Templates 2...both are available at GottaPixel.net
This is my hubby's family that we found while doing research for his family tree. It was sooo cool and they turned out to be such a great bunch of family.

These are my hubby's great aunts on his paternal grandmother's side...they are sooo cute with the bows and the frowns...I just couldn't resist scrapping such a sour face on these bright colors from Pillowgirl...lol
The kit is Maia's Garden by Pillowgirl at Myscrapshop.com
I love the colors of it.
Well, I am off to bed...i AM so exhausted...gotta get some rest so my heart can rest too!
Oh, and dont forget all the freebies from SAS this week on their blogs...

Wow....Lovin' the Christmas Freebies...

There are so many I know I will never be able to download them all....although I am trying to...lol But when you have satelite internet...you only have so much bandwidth per 24 hours...if I still had my laptop I would go spend time at the library...lol
What's girl to do...

Go scrap some more I guess....lol
